Buninyong, Shopping Parade

Buninyong village lies at the bottom of Mt Buninyong, the old volcano at 745m tall showed the way home to many generations of local Wathaurung people. The mountain can be seen from all local directions and is just 14km away from Ballarat City.

Surrounded by wood lined hills and farmland, Buninyong has its share of historic buildings from the Gold-era. Also boasting contemporary cafes and shops.

Above the seatings areas for the cafés, Grape vines grow and thrive giving shade and colour in the canopy. These Vines grow from areas of exposed soil within the paved area. The purpose of our works was to provide a mulch that did not migrate and allowed water to permeate to the roots. Also to avoid litter entrapment and give a quality look and finish.

Resin Bound Aggregate:

The planting areas were cleaned before we laid a UV Stable Resin Bound aggregate, giving as requested a stable plant surround, permeable and litter free. Also fitting in with the contemporary look and feel of this area.
