Our client had a garden that had a serve slope and he wanted to create a level lawn area with tiered planting levels.

We agreed that the way forward would be to put curved walls in at 2 levels to reduce the overall height. Also to install a grand staircase leading onto the lower garden and a terrace area with a pond and water feature.

We started but excavating the footings and filling with concrete and upright reinforcing steel bars. After the concrete had dried we started to erect a hollow concrete wall to desired heights. Once finished these were filled with concrete.

We then laid bricks to the front of the concrete block wall tied together with wall ties. The finished walls were capped

with Sandstone slabs. The Grand staircase was finished with Sandstone steps. We laid Sandstone to the terrace around

the feature pond and finished the area with turf and a Sandstone path to match.
